Its ovate foliage is bronze when young, gradually turning dark blue green as they mature and taking on reddish tinges in winter. It flowers prolifically in summer, producing masses of bright yellow flowers followed by conical, fleshy fruit. Ideal for shrub or mixed borders and best planted in sun or light shade.
