Just place the water aerator on the surface. When the sun shines, the integrated pump starts to work and air is transported down the pipe to the porous stone which in turn ventilates your pond. The air pipe must be attached to the underside of the pump and can be shortened as required. There is a loop on the underside of the casing which restricts the movement of the air pipe. The device is very easy to use. It is powered by a 1.8 W solar cell which make it independent of power sockets and the low voltage makes it safe. The pump starts working straight away when the sun shines, there is no battery storage. The pump comes ready to use .
