The Virtue 53SV has 4 separate cutting settings, cut collection, mulching, rear discharge and side discharge.Mulching Grass clippings are cut and re cut into tiny pieces which are blown back onto the ground where they virtually disappear. Recommended for drier conditions the nutrient rich pieces are absorbed into the soil feeding the grass roots for a greener, healthier lawn.Collection Cuttings are collected into a large 70 litre fabric collectorRear Discharge With the collector removed the cuttings are deposited behind the mowerSide Discharge Cuttings are deposited through a chute to the side of the mower in a line.
