The strong, aluminium frame the same as used in Halls glass glazed greenhouses, is fitted with twin wall, polycarbonate glazing panels which clip in easily and are virtually unbreakable. Integral gutters, smooth action roller sliding door, and one or two vents on larger sizes are included. As well as safety, other benefits of polycarbonate are superior insulation and heat retention, and it also diffuses direct sunlight reducing the risk of plant scorch. Greenhouse Bases It is important to put your greenhouse on firm foundations. A galvanised, prefabricated steel base is available as an option on every model, and is recommended, as it not only makes construction easier, but also gives an extra 12.5cm 5 of headroom. The base can be either secured to a flat hardstanding surface, or on soil using the anchorage pegs provided. Delivery Assembly All greenhouses are delivered in one drop complete with glazing. Full assembly instructions are provided, and two people could normally expect to complete assembly in a weekend. PLEASE NOTE A postage surcharge per item ordered is applicable.
