The first begonia of this type! The vigorous, arching stems become smothered in exceptionally large single flowers, in shades of red, rose, white and orange, throughout the season. Weather tolerant. Height 30cm 12This species is of special historical interest to gardeners. Originating in Bolivia and Argentina, it is one of the species used by John Seden, in the 19th century, in the production of the first hybrid tuberous begonia raised in England.
