The worlds first anvil pruner was developed and patented by Walther Schroder in Kiel, Germany in 1923. Randolph Schroder, the current Managing Director, is the third generation of his family to manufacture Lowe pruners, continuing the family tradition. The company's pruners are designed and manufactured to the highest standards, and although many British gardeners will not have heard of them, it is likely that they have owned a pair, because for many years the pruners were manufactured by Rolcut here in the UK and sold under that well known brand name.Ergonomic Handle Handles curved inwards ideal for small hands. The continuously adjustable handle width of all these Lowe secateurs makes them suitable for hands of any size, reduces hand fatigue and significantly prolongs the working life of the blades.
