Clematis 'Purpurea Plena Elegans' has plum red flowers with an open bell shape, and double petals, the inner buds having a white appearance until tiny petals open. Very pretty, medium sized blooms are borne from mid summer into September. Prune to a pair of healthy buds 30cm above the ground in late winter, early spring. Flowers June September. Height 250 300cm. Supplied in a 3 4 litre pot.
