The Cobra M48 SPS is a 2 speed 19 inch cut four wheel lawnmower powered by a Subaru EA190V OHC four stroke engine and featuring a Blade Brake Clutch.Shaft driven mowers do not use belts or chains and can be used for longer periods in more intense conditions. A blade brake clutch or BBC allows lets the user stop the cutting blades turning but keeps the engine running. Normally you have to stop a mowers engine to empty the grass box or to remove obstacles debris from the lawn. Fan assisted collection acts like a vacuum drawing the cuttings up into the collector more effectively. This feature is useful in wet and damp cutting conditions and also for collecting garden debris like leaves. Select from 7 cutting height adjustments on the Cobra M48SPS from 16 – 76mm with the simple to use height levers.
