Product reviews for Gardeco Ellipse Glazed Chimenea Talavera

Gardeco Ellipse Glazed Chimenea Talavera

Gardeco Ellipse Glazed Chimenea Talavera

This Talavera glazed medium Ellipse is the most noticeable from the range and the most unusual. Hand painted glaze in the typical Mexican Talavera style, with flowers and scrolls, it is perfect for use indoors, as a decoration or with a bio ethnaol chim burner, or in most garden settigns. The Gardeco Ellipse Chimeneas are a new range with round shape and oval sizeable mouth opening. Ideal for use with a bio ethanol chim burner, indoors or out, or in a normal chimenea function with real fire. The chimenea comes a matching clay lid and is 32cm diameter and 65cm hicg with lid without the stand. Choose a steel simple stand S1 or the table stand TABLE S1 Real glazing is a process by which vitrous coloured glass powder is applied to the surface of the chimenea, which is then fired in a high temperature oven to 1100 degrees Celsius. The glazing bonds onto the clay surface. Glazing is a permanent finish that keeps its colour even after firing or leaving outside. Glazing makes chimenea more water resistant by sealing the pores of the clay. So glazing is ideal to keep your chimenea looking the same as when first purchased it and to better protect it from rain and frost. Glazing may craze when fired repeatadly or left outside for a long time. Crazing are fine lines formations on the surface. Crazing is a natural process that does not affect use although it makes the chimenea less water and frost resistant.
