The Kinsman Giant Bee Nester has the capacity to hold potentially 360 bee cells. The nester is designed for Mason Bees and Leafcutter Bees. Made from rice husk and bamboo and has no plastic in its construction. Secure against a wall, fence or tree. Ensure it is secured well preventing any movement with a drainage pipe clamp or bobbled rope. Face the barrel towards morning sun and between 1.5 5 m off the ground. It is important to monitor the nester and look out for potential woodpecker damage as they will eat the developing bugs inside. Once used, you should see occupation and use of the nester increase every year. Remember to move the nester to an outhouse, or similar to prevent frost damage.
