Meconopsis belong to the poppy family Papaveraceae, but they are not true poppies Papaver. Commonly known as Himalayan Poppies, these magnificent and much admired perennials bear breathtaking poppy like flowers. The clump forming plants are fully hardy and prefer a lime free soil. Supplied in a 9cm pot. Alba This is the somewhat rarer version of the more well know Blue Himalayan Poppy. A truly lovely plant! Fowers June July. Height 60 90cm 2 3'. MiddleBack of border variety.
