Mountfield are introducing 2 garden tractors the 1538M 1538H to their range of grass collection machines from 2016.The Mountfield 1538M has a manual geared transmissionwith 5 forward and 1 reverse gear. The Mountfield 1538M is driven by a Mountfield 7750OHV OverHead Value series engine which is used on the majority of Mountfield lawn garden tractors.This petrol engine has proved both reliable easy starting for years.The 1538 M has a 98 cm 38 cutting deck which uses twinun timed cutting blades for the best finish. Un timed blades allow the lawn tractor tomow over rough ground without any overlap. The cutter deck is also fittedwith 2 anti scalp wheels which help it to ‘float’ over the ground providing theoptimum cut and finish to the grass. The heights of cut are adjusted through 7positions from 25 – 80 mm. Grass trimmings are collected to the rear of thetractor into a large 240 litre collection box.
