Also known as Sacred Bamboo due to its upright growth habit, nandina domestica is a compact evergreen shrub. The new leaf growth in spring starts out purple, turning green throughout the summer and is purple tinged again in autumn. Sprays of white flowers are borne in early summer followed by bright red ornamental berries. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
