A superb old French variety of this very hardy to 17C and long lived deciduous treeshrub. A lover of summer heat, plants are ideal for greenhouse, conservatory, or a hot, sunny spot outdoors, coming into flower in June, the glossy, leathery skinned fruits maturing during September. Enjoy the fragrant sweet sharp juice as a drink, and eat the bright pink pulp fresh and in dishes sweet or savoury.
