This robust, late flowering, hybrid rhododendron is ideal for a shrub border or woodland edge with humus rich, acid soil. Avoid planting too deeply and incorporate leaf mould or composted pine needles into the planting hole. Garden care Avoid planting too deeply. Apply a generous 5 7cm 2 3in mulch of leaf mould around the base of the plant each spring.
