The YXT400 is a side discharge deck machine with a large 52 inch 130cm cutting deck and triple blades. The tripled bladed deck can be adjusted to 7 different cutting heights from 3.1 9.5 cm for the perfect cut. The side discharge deck ejects the grass clippings to the side of the tractor in a line so they can wilt naturally back into the soil. This type of mowing is the preferred option for longer grass areas and paddocks or orchards.The Snapper YXT400 is easily converted into a mulching tractor by fitting the optional mulch kit. Mulching the grass cuts it into tiny pieces which virtually disappear into lawn areas adding vital extra nutrients for a healthier growth and lusher appearance. If you follow the 'one third rule' by only cutting a third of the length of the grass blade you will achieve the best cut for your lawn.The Snapper YXT400 is packed with excellent features including the hydrostatic foot operated automatic drive with 5 step cruise control, cast iron axle and steel frame.
