Magnolia Plant Nigra

A compact deciduous magnolia tree that produces large goblet shaped flowers. The lightly fragrant flowers are a dark red purple almost black on the outside and a paler shade on the inside. Flowers earlier than most magnolias in April and can also have a second flush in summer. Grows to a height of 3m. Plant height 45 60cm high, supplied in a 5 litre pot.
