In a similar way to the Cherry Laurel, Portuguese laurel provides a great dense, tall, evergreen screen for any area. It is fast growing, with large but slender leaves and it is a deeper shade of green to other laurels, portraying a more sophisticated appearance. It's an easy hedge to grow and care for as it takes well to pruning and is tough enough to grow in some of the more tricky locations and soil types. Plants supplied 100cm high and grow 30 60cm per year.
