A first class variety producing tall, slender, high quality spears with tight green buds. And the flavour is superb! Delicious steamed, stir fried or sauted and topped with butter! Harvest May June. Note that in their first year the harvest will be smaller, as 50% of the crop must stay in the ground for to build up the strength of the plants.Please order by early April for delivery May.
