Ceanothus thyrsiflorus var. repens, also known as creeping blue blossom, belongs to the Rhamnaceae family. It is an evergreen shrub that's small but vigorous. Grows low and spreads but taller if grown against a wall. Has ovate, glossy dark green leaves and its flowers are light blue, in compact panicles that bloom in spring and early part of summer.
