Chaenomeles speciosa 'Friesdorfer', a deciduous shrubtree is commonly known as Quince 'Friesdorfer'. Grown for its flowers which are five petalled and salmon pink in colour. The foliage is oval and glossy green. The flowers are followed by apple like fruit which is also edible and can be used to make quince jelly. Flowers March May. Height 200 250cm.
