Clethra alnifolia 'Ruby Spice' is a vigorous, deciduous, upright, suckering shrub with oval, green foliage. It is a good wildlife plant attracting bees and butterflies among other insects. It produces deep pink to red spikes of bell shaped flowers about 1cm across from July September with a deliciously spicy, clove like fragrance. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Height 100 150cm. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
