Grown more for its vivid red stems during the autumn, winter and early spring months for winter interest, 'Elegantissima' also has attractive variegated foliage with a grey green centre and cream margin to each leaf. Clusters of small white flowers are also produced in May and June which in time turn to white berries. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Height 200 250cm.
