The dramatic purple, black stems of 'Kesselringii' is the key attraction to this deciduous shrub, which when planted with either other Cornus, Birch or salix Willow produce really eye catching displays during the winter. During May and June, clusters of white flowers are also produced above the mid green foliage of this deciduous shrub which if pruned hard every year as we recommend will not only help intensify the colours of the stems but also help to keep the plant more compact. Height 150 200cm. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.Amazing stems that provide colour and interest in the garden throughout the winter.
