Genista lydia is an outstanding dwarf shrub, ideal for dry, sunny areas in the garden, with masses of bright yellow flowers in late spring and early summer. Originating from the stony hillsides of southern France and Northern Spain, it flowers best when kept in a soil with little humus the worse the soil the better. Height 50 60cm.
