This entry level Bioforce is actually the 'old' 5500 model. The new title reflects how much volume the filter can handle if keeping koi it can actually handle 4500 litres 1000 gallons if you are keeping goldfish. This is a popular size of pond and not many pondkeepers would suggest using this filter for koi.
