Most honeysuckles Lonicera periclymenum are wild at heart they'll romp around and swamp less vigorous plants. But compact growing Chic and Choc is ideal for the smaller garden, bearing deliciously scented pink and white flowers that mature to apricot gold. Try growing it with clematis, Alchemilla mollis or hardy geraniums train it onto small obelisks, or leave it to trail over the edges of patio pots. Winter hardy down to 15C. Flowers July September.
