A superb tender perennial, originating from South Africa, producing eye catching spikes of orange flowers sometimes with dark chocolate coloured centres. Flowering can be from late winter to early summer. On occasion they can stay in dormancy for the year as is the case with some South African bulbs. Be patient! RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Flowers December March. Height 20 30cm. Bulb size 56cm. Bulb sizes quoted in centimetres refer to the circumference of bulbs. All bulbs are sourced from cultivated stocks.
