A multi stemmed, fully hardy, deciduous shrub with aromatic oval leaves and bark. Its branches are either upright or arching producing lightly scented wine red flowers with a little cream colour in the middle. Flowers May September. Height upto 3m 10'. Supplied as a 30 45cm plant in a 3 4 litre pot.
