Yellow or chartreuse stems characterise Cornus sericae 'Budd's Yellow'. Known for its multi stems, and rapid growth, 'Budd's Yellow' looks stunning in a winter border, where its stems glow if there is winter sunshine. As with most shrubby, coloured stemmed cornus, 'Budd's Yellow' needs to be cut to 30cm above soil level in spring to promote the new, vigorous, brightly coloured growth.
