Yellow or chartreuse stems characterise Cornus sericae 'Budd's Yellow'. Known for its multi stems, and rapid growth, 'Budd's Yellow' looks stunning in a winter border, where its stems glow if there is winter sunshine. As with most shrubby, coloured stemmed cornus, 'Budd's Yellow' needs to be cut to 30cm above soil level in spring to promote the new, vigorous, brightly coloured growth. Flat topped clusters of creamy white flowers in spring give way to white bracts. Plant where you want to have winter interest, and can enjoy the lovely colour. Flowers May June. Height 150 200cm. Supplied in a 3 4 litre pot.
